I've been tired all day today. I got up especially early so I
could go have breakfast before class today. I stayed dry all morning,
and even made it back home alright after my last class. It was
when I wanted to go back for lunch that I got soaked. I stopped
by to see Angie Jennings for just a minute, and then went back
to the cafeteria to get some lunch. After that, I headed back
home and got out of my wet clothes. Then I took a nap until I
had to go to work. We kept having little spikes of orders, so
it took me a while to get out of there. When I finally did, I
went by Angie's house and lied down with her for a while because
she wasn't feeling well. Then I left her so she could go to sleep,
and I came home to eventually clean up and go to bed.

1-30-02
I got up this morning and headed to my first class. It didn't
seem very long, and afterwards I came home to take a shower. I
relaxed around the house until it was time for me to go to my
next class. Speech was boring, and when that was over, I headed
to lunch. After I finished eating, I headed to my last class.
I was a bit early, so I just sat in the room and waited for everyone
to get there. It wasn't too boring, and this session didn't seem
too long. Afterwards I headed home and stopped by Papa John's
on the way so I could check the schedule. I went home to drop
off my backpack, and noticed I had a rather long package with
my name on it. I had ordered another sword for Travis Simpson,
but for some reason they shipped it to my house instead of his.
After swinging it around a couple times, I went by to see Thomas
Hollingsworth so we could talk about our upcoming LAN
party. It should be a lot of fun. Eventually I had to head back
home so I could get ready for work. I got there on time today,
and wound up staying just a little longer than I wanted because
my boss had to find someone to close the store. I made a fairly
decent amount in only a few runs, and then went by Angie Jennings's
house when I got off. I sat there and watched a movie she had
going for a while, and then left when her curfew was up. When
I got home, I grabbed a bite to eat, showered, and headed to bed.

1-29-02
This morning, I got up and showered so I could head to class.
It was warm outside, so it was a nice ride to school. Class, on
the other hand, was mostly pretty boring. After my first two classes,
I went to fill up the bike's gas tank, and then went to Papa John's
to see how things had gone the night before. I stuck around for
quite a while, and then headed to the cafeteria for lunch before
class. Rather than another boring lecture, we had a rousing session
of proving ourselves wrong in calculus II. The class, including
the professor, broke out into laughter several times, which is
always a good thing. After class, I went home for a while, and
then went out to ride my bike some more. I eventually wound up
at Angie Jennings's house and sat with her for a little while.
Then I went to get the other helmet so we could ride out and do
some clothes shopping for her. She got herself a couple little
items of some sort, and then we rode by Papa John's again. While
she was looking over my schedule, I went back to help work a little
bit. Somehow, I managed to flip half of a small pizza onto the
floor. Luckily it was right-side-up, so it didn't get too messy.
I had a couple slices of pizza, and then we went back to Angie's
house. We tried to figure out something to do, and finally decided
to ride up and visit Cassie Hilgerson. We made it up her steep,
gravel mountain only to find that she was at work. We left there
and tried to decide where we could go to eat, and wound up back
at Angie's house. With nothing to eat there, we went to La Huerta
for some great Mexican. I loved my taco and chips and salsa. After
that, we went to my house and dozed off for a little while before
I had to take her back home for her curfew. I came back home and
lied around for a little while before heading to bed.

1-28-02
Today's been a pretty decent day. I got up and got dressed for
class. It was a bit cool riding in the morning, but it warmed
up nicely in the afternoon. I kept dozing off a bit through my
classes, but we didn't cover anything new, so I don't think I'll
suffer any. After my first class, I went home and went to sleep.
I woke up when it was time to go to my next class two hours later.
After that was over, I went to the cafeteria to eat before my
last class. Calculus was boring again, so I kept wanting to nod
off in there. When it was all finally over, I went home to drop
off my backpack, and then went riding all around town. Eventually
my bike started to get hot and blew a fuse. I replaced it and
headed on, only to blow the replacement. I let it sit for a little
while, rather awkwardly, and then replaced it with a good one
from another slot, and rode to Price Chopper to see if they had
any fuses. They didn't have a package of just the kind I needed,
so I rode to Papa John's to see if anyone had any in their cars.
Failing that, I headed on home where I knew I had a package just
for the specific reason that my bike keeps blowing them. Luckily
I made it all the way home, and could then head back to Price
Chopper to pick up Angie Jennings from work. We went back to her
house for a little while, and then came to my house so I could
meet Tut
from Tut's
Universe about some new things for his web
site. He e-mailed me to let me know he would have to come
later in the evening, so Angie and I went out to ride around for
a while. We went up to Travis Simpson's house to see what he was
up to, and were met in his driveway by the great ninja, himself
- sword raised and ready for battle. He had to go in to eat, so
Angie and I went to Wal-Mart for a little while. We stopped by
the little snack bar, and then wandered around the store for a
while. Eventually we headed back up to Travis's and watched him
show off the intense graphical work of Final Fantasy X.
Then I ripped up some pavement in Grand Theft Auto III.
When that was all over, Angie and I went back to my house so I
could wait on Tut. He eventually stopped by and gave me his stuff,
and Angie and I sat back to watch TV. It grew later into the night,
and her curfew neared. Hungry, we stopped by her house for permission,
and then went to grab some food at Wendy's. We went back to her
house so she could eat, and then I headed back home after a short
while. Tired and needing much sleep, I went straight to bed.
|
1-27-02
When Angie Jennings and I got up this morning, we sat there for
a little while trying to figure out what we could eat. Eventually
I got up to shower, and then we went to Long John Silver's for
some lunch. I took Angie home, and took my food to work with me.
I wound up working all day, much longer than I wanted. When I
finally got clocked out, I somehow got caught up into work again,
and after a while, clocked myself back in so I could take some
deliveries. After far too much work, I went home to change. I
rode the bike around for a while, and then went to pick Angie
up from work. We came back to my house to get the pants I had
gotten from Wal-Mart. Apparently I had left another bag of mine
in the store. We went to find another pair, and when we returned
to the counter, the girl at the desk had found the bag with my
original pair. We took off and I took Angie home, and then I came
home and lied around for a while. Eventually I got up to shower
and went to bed.
|
1-26-02
Today's been nothing but work. I got up and showered so I could
go straight to work. I was there all day, and finally got off
around 8 with a decent amount in tips. I headed home to change
and rode around on the bike for a while before I had to go pick
Angie Jennings up from work. We stopped by her house for a little
while, and then decided to go try to rent a movie. Hastings was
closed, so we just went to Wal-Mart for a little while. Then we
went by Papa John's so I could start my training to become a manager.
I didn't want Angie to get too bored, so I took her back to my
house and then rode back to do some more work. When I got back
home from all of that, Angie was asleep in my bed, so I just went
to sleep too.
|
1-25-02
It's finally Friday after a short week of school. I took off
to my first class for the day, and then went home to rest for
a little while. Before too long, it was time for me to go back
to class again. I'm really not liking speech class, the atmosphere
of the classroom, or the teacher, but there's not much I can do
about any of it. After that class, I went to Papa John's for a
while, and then headed back to school for a quick lunch before
my last class of the day. Calculus turned out to be fairly boring,
so it took a while for it to end. Then I went home and got ready
to go to work, which went on like any other day at work. When
I got off, I went home to change, and then picked Angie Jennings
up from work. We were running around for a little while when Travis
Simpson came online and wanted to go to Wal-Mart. The three of
us met there and wandered around the store for a while. Angie
started feeling sick again, so Travis headed home, and I took
Angie home. I lied down with her for a while and started to doze
off a bit. Eventually I headed back home and went to sleep.
|
1-24-02
I got up this morning and got ready for my morning classes. They
weren't fun, but I made it through alright. After my last class
ended at 11:00, I went to the student accounts office to see how
much I owed for college. Hearing a hefty number weighing just
over $3,100, I picked my jaw up off of the floor and rode towards
home. I stopped by Papa John's for a little while, and then continued
home. I fiddled around for a little while with my checkbook, admiring
the 4 digit numbers it contained. Then I rode back to the school
and paid around $1,900, which I guess covered my room and board,
because the lady said I had to pay that much to get my meals.
I figure I'll just eat $3,000 worth of food this semester, and
it will feel like I've only spent a couple hundred on college.
From there, I went to the cafeteria to meet David Benefield for
lunch. After that, we went out and talked for a little while about
the Arnis class he's going to be teaching. It's a Filipino stick
and knife fighting style, but I figured it might help Travis Simpson
and me with our sword fighting. Then I stopped by Angie Jennings's,
but she wasn't home yet, so I continued back to my house. There
I waited until she got home so I could go see her. I stayed there
until I had to go back home to get ready for work. We had a busy
night at the store because of a fund raiser, but I didn't make
a whole lot in tips. I got off an hour after I was scheduled and
went back to Angie's house. She wasn't there because she got called
into work, so I went home and started looking for some neat things
to do to my bike. Eventually I fell asleep while waiting for my
turn in the shower.
|
1-23-02
I crawled out of bed this morning and headed to my first class.
It was really foggy out, so it was fun riding the bike around.
After class I stopped by Papa John's, and then continued home
to get some breakfast. I ate and watched a few scenes from The
Fast and The Furious before heading back to class. Speech
seemed long and boring, but then I left and went riding around
town for a while. I eventually stopped at Angie Jennings's house
to see how she was doing. She wasn't feeling well, but she decided
to go to work anyway. I left for my last class, calculus, which
was spent discussing whether our calculators should be set to
radian or degree mode. After that was over, I went home for a
while and just sat back to relax. Travis Simpson invited me to
go out to town with him so he could buy a newt. Just as we were
leaving, we saw Cassie Hilgerson coming into the store, so we
stayed to chat and look at the cute, little, furry things for
a while. Then we went back to Travis's house and hung out there
until we got hungry. We went to Taco John's to grab a bite to
eat, and then came to my house so we could play with our swords.
After some slicing, dicing, and clanking around, we went back
to his house, where I played Grand Theft Auto III until
he kicked me out so he could go to church. I went to Angie's house
and brought her back to my house so we could watch The Fast
and The Furious. After the movie, I took her home to meet
her curfew. I came back home, cleaned up, and got ready for bed.
I hope tomorrow will be a good day for the ol' crotch rocket.

1-22-02
I got up fairly early this morning and couldn't really go back
to sleep, so I looked at some more swords online until it was
time to get ready for school. When I headed out, it was a bit
cold, but it wasn't too bad. I went to my first two classes and
nearly bored myself to sleep. Then I headed over to Papa John's
to see how things were going. I did what bit of homework I had
while I was there, went by the E-Z
Mart to get an ICEE.
It was interesting trying to tote it back to the store, but I
managed with the help of my backpack. I stayed for a little longer,
and then went to my last class for the day. We talked about infinity,
how much it really is, which infinity is more than the other,
and then we discussed the existence of other physical dimensions
and the meaning of life. I have a very strong feeling that this
class won't be very boring at all. After class, I rode home in
the rain. I stripped out of my wet clothes and got into my work
uniform. I thought it would be funny for Travis Simpson, in his
Domino's
pizza uniform, to go with me in my Papa
John's uniform, to Ci-Ci's
Pizza for dinner. After my sister finally came home with the
car, I went to get him, and we went out to eat. It wasn't very
busy, so we didn't get much of a response. It was still fun, but
we had to cut it short so we could both get to work on time. I
wound up about 20-25 minutes late, but nobody cared. We weren't
busy, and I really wasn't needed at all for the most part. I decked
my car out with 3 different car-tops, and was surprised later
when the battery was too weak to start the car. I had another
guy help me push-start it, and I got it going. I took a couple
deliveries with the lights off, and pretty soon my battery was
back into what feels like full-swing. Later in the night, some
drunk lady came in and demanded to know who I was, and explained
that I had been speeding and almost rear-ended her. Rachael, the
manager, wouldn't tell her who I was, so she just went away. After
I got off, I hung around for a little longer before heading to
Angie Jennings's house. I sat there with her for a while because
she wasn't feeling well, and then got word that Rachael had tried
to call my house for me. I went back to the store and had to fill
out an incident report about the lady that came in looking for
me. I wrote a nice page-or-so essay about it, and then went along
my merry little way home, where I sat at the computer for a short
while before taking a shower and heading to bed.

1-21-02
Angie Jennings and I both slept late today. We finally got up
around 11:00 when her mom got home from her trip and woke us up.
We finally got up and around, and went back to my house to get
the muffin mix we got last night. We came back to Angie's house
and she started to mix the stuff up when she realized what was
left of their milk had gone bad, so we went to get some more.
When we got back, she finished making them and stuck them in the
oven when she realized she didn't have any time left before work.
We stopped by Sonic so she could get something quick to eat, and
then I dropped her off at work. I went back to her house and had
a couple muffins with her mom, and then went home. I sat around
for a little while, but then jumped in the shower to get all cleaned
up again. After that, I went out on the bike for a while. I stopped
by Price Chopper to let Angie know her mom was picking her up,
and then went to Travis Simpson's to see his sword. Yes, the lord
grand master of SKECHx
now wields a sword - a katana to be exact. This rare blade was
forged under a dragon's fire; the blade is virtually indestructible,
except by that of another blade of its kind (found in assorted
colors for the sale price of $50 at the Bull Pin in Russellville,
Arkansas - Lord have mercy on the world if evil should ever grasp
a sword like this). After a bit of cowering under Lord Ninja Travis
as he flailed his sharp metal object around at arm's length, I
headed back to Angie's house. We sat there watching TV for a while,
and then I went back home to get something to eat. After I ate,
I went back to her house to return the watch she left here. We
lied down for a short while because I was tired, but then I came
back home and went to sleep.

1-20-02
I got up late and showered so I could go see Angie Jennings.
We sat there for a little while until I had to take her to work.
After that, I went back home and got my bike so I could ride around
for a while. I followed Papa John's drivers around and just had
fun until I had to be there to work at 3:30. At 6, I went to take
Angie home from work, and then continued along my shift. I finally
got off around 9 or so, and went back to her house. We stayed
there for a little while before coming back to my house. I changed
out of my work uniform, and then we went to Kroger for some sweets.
We got some angelfood cake, pecan tarts, and some muffin mix to
make for breakfast tomorrow. We came back to my house and ate
a bunch of the angelfood, and then I fell asleep. She woke me
up a little while later, and we went back to her house. She went
off to shower and whatever, and I just fell asleep on her futon,
so I spent the night there again.
|
1-19-02
I wound up waking up fairly early this morning, at least for
a weekend. Angie and I finally got up and around, and we went
to Sonic for breakfast. After that, she started to rearrange some
things. She got her computer and TV moved into her brother Michael's
old room, and got things set up a bit. I dozed off again for a
while, and finally got up when I had to go home to get ready for
work. Michael was there, so he could take her to work when it
was her time. I worked all evening and on into the night. I stopped
by to pick Angie up from work when she got off, and then went
back to work. I finally got off around 2:30 in the morning and
stopped by her house to see if she was still awake. She was just
barely asleep, so I left there and came home to find strange people
parked in my driveway. I spun a few loops and shoved some cars
around, but finally got my car into the garage. My sister has
two, possibly three, people spending the night, so I just went
to my room and fell asleep.
|
1-18-02
I got up early and dropped my sister off at school this morning
before heading to my computer programming class. After that, Chris
Sanderock and I stopped by Sonic for some breakfast and came back
to my house to hang out until his next class. When that time came,
I dropped him back off there at school and came home to relax
a while longer. Before too long I had to go to my speech class,
which we got out of a bit early. I came back home and showered
before going to pick Angie Jennings up from school. We went back
to her house where I waited until it was time for my last class
of the day. It was a rousing session of calculus, in which we
challenged yet a second problem. That's right, folks. We've been
there for a week and have accomplished documenting several wrong
answers, and a very select few correct answers for two complete
calculus problems. After class, I stopped by Angie's and brought
her back to my house until it was time for us to go to work. I
dropped her off first, and then went to work myself. Work went
on as usual, and I got off a bit later than I was scheduled. Afterwards,
I went home to change, and then went back to pick Angie up from
work again. We came back to my house for a little while so I could
help my dad set up some vertical blinds he had just gotten for
the picture window in our front room. When we finished there,
Angie and I went back to her house. I got her to eat a bit, and
we just lied around lazily for the rest of the night. I fell asleep,
so I wound up just spending the night there.
|
1-17-02
I didn't have time for a shower when I first got up this morning,
so I headed on to class. It was an extremely short day anyway,
so I just showered when I got back home after my last class. Then
I got dressed again and headed to the high school to pick up Angie
Jennings. We came back to my house for a little while, and then
went to KFC because we were both hungry. After that, we went by
my house to get her backpack again, and took it back to her house.
She took the opportunity to change into some warmer clothes, and
then we rode over to visit her brother Michael and the other guys
that were all living in a new house together. He and Jon Robison
were still asleep, and shortly after we got there, Erin Clayborn
got back home. Gary Metz, the final member of the household, had
left long before we got there, so we never saw him. I played RUNE
over their network with Jon for a while, and then I had to take
Angie to work for a meeting. I went by Papa John's to check my
schedule and hang out for a couple minutes, and then went back
to pick her up. We went straight back to my house to rest for
a while. Then Travis Simpson came online and asked if he could
come over. He came over, and we all sat back and watched a movie.
When that was over, everyone was hungry, so we went to Taco John's
to eat. We sat and talked for quite a while, and then came back
to my house to watch Adult
Swim. I had to take Angie home at 10:00, and then Travis left
about half an hour later. I started to doze off a bit, but I stayed
up for a while longer to work on this site. After nearly two months
of being lazy and not updating the site, I'm finally posting all
the past logs I've missed. To all those that actually care about
its existence, I apologize for the inconvenience that has been
forcibly placed upon your innocent lives for so very long. I'll
certainly do my best to keep up with my logs from now on.

1-16-02
Today's been a decent day. I slept in a bit again, but still
made it to class with plenty of time to spare. We got out of that
a bit early, so I came home and took a nap for a couple hours.
I got back up when it was time to go back to class, which was
another boring session of business speaking. I don't think I'm
going to enjoy that class in the least bit. After that was finally
over, I came home for a while again and worked on some calculus
homework. Jared Fitzgibbon came by to borrow a CD, and then I
headed to my last class for the day. It turned out pretty interesting
and enjoyable, especially for calculus. We spent nearly the whole
hour on one problem, but it was an interesting way of teaching
us. After class was over, I went to Angie Jennings's house for
a while. I dropped my helmet on their tile floor and left a huge
crack and dent in it, so I felt pretty bad. Then I put a telescope
together for her mom before I headed home. I waited for her to
get back home from her errands, and then went back and saw all
the neat new toys she had bought. After a while, Mrs. Raines came
to pick her up and take her to church, so I went home to get something
to eat. After I finished eating, I sat back to watch some TV and
got really tired. I eventually started to doze off a bit. When
Angie called, my sister answered and was ordered not to wake me
up. When I did get up, I went back to Angie's house to see her
for just a little longer. She got tired, so I tucked her into
bed and headed back home. Still exhausted, I just fell right into
bed and went to sleep.

1-15-02
I've been feeling pretty sick all day today, but I think it's
finally starting to fade out. I got up a little late, but got
to class in plenty of time. Between classes, I sat around and
chatted with various old friends. Finally, during a two-hour break
I had, I headed towards home to rest for a while. I stopped by
Papa John's for a quick bit to see how things were going, and
then went home. I played around for a little while, and then grabbed
a 15 minute nap before heading back to my last class. It was long
and, at times, boring, but it seemed alright. Afterwards I headed
to Angie Jennings's house and hung out with her for a while. Eventually
I had to get home to get ready for work, which turned out lasting
several hours longer than I had hoped. When I finally got off
3 hours after I was scheduled, I stopped by Angie's house to find
that she had fallen sound asleep. I just left continued home,
where I ate, showered, and got ready for bed. Maybe going to bed
earlier will help me feel better when I have to get up early tomorrow
morning.

1-14-02
I got up early this morning and reluctantly got out of bed and
dressed for school. It was really nice out for riding my bike
to school. My first class seemed like it would be alright, and
after 15 minutes of going over the syllabus, we were dismissed.
I had over two hours until my next class, so I went by Papa John's
for a short while to check on things, and then went home to rest.
I dozed off a bit, but I still wasn't feeling well. I got up again
when it was time to go back to class. Our teacher wasn't there,
but she had some other lady come give us each a self-evaluation
sheet. After 15 minutes of filling that out, I went with David
Benefield to wait on Mary Kincy before lunch. When she finally
got out of class, I headed back to the bike and went to Angie
Jennings's house. She wasn't feeling well, so she called in sick
to work. I sat with her until it was time to go to my last class
for the day. It was another no-show as far as my real teacher
was concerned, but yet again someone else had come to take up
our time. We actually went over some things for calculus II. We
got out a little early, and I headed back to Angie's house. We
watched Die Hard and lied around until I had to go home
to get ready for work. I kept feeling sick, so I was a bit sluggish
at work. I made a decent amount in tips, though, and headed back
home after I got off. I ate dinner, played Worms, and shivered
a bit, and then later in the night I showered and got ready for
bed. I meant to go get some NyQuil, but I never had a chance.
I guess I'm left to that "natural" sleep again. I just
hope I can stay under for more than 5 minutes at a time.
|
1-13-02
I slept on into the afternoon today. I woke up periodically,
but kept trying to put myself back to sleep because I wasn't feeling
well. I finally got up and showered so I could go to work, but
I was feeling so bad when I got there, my boss sent me home until
he needed me later in the evening. I went back home and tried
to rest myself for a while, but by then there was no getting back
to sleep. I just played Worms until he called me back in
several hours later. I was beginning to feel a bit better by then,
so I was taking deliveries and stopped for some food I never got
to finish. I had to close, but everyone that was still at the
store knew how I was feeling and decided to chip in with the work.
At the end of the night, all I had to do was finish dishes and
then mop up the back area when I was done. I got home at a reasonable
hour and showered again, but I didn't get to sleep until about
3:00, and then it was nothing but tossing and turning, and waking
up every few minutes. Boy am I looking forward to my first day
back to school!

1-12-02
I kept waking up early this morning. Eventually I got up so I
could drop my sister off at school for her all region band tryouts.
After I dropped her off, I came back home and showered so I could
go see Angie Jennings. After sitting and talking with her and
her mom for a while, I took her to pick up some breakfast for
the two of them. After Angie ate, I started dozing off a bit in
her room. Eventually she called Mallory McKinney, and we went
to pick her up. We came back to my house so I could grab a bite
to eat, and then we went to the park. I brought some kites along,
but two of the three had decided to tangle into something quite
dreadful. Angie and Mallory flew the one that worked while I tried
my best to make some sense of my tangled mess. Eventually we gave
up and headed back to my house. We lied around and I dozed off
a bit more until I had to take them both back home and get ready
for work. We had a couple busy rushes at work, but it wasn't too
bad. I got off a little late and headed back home. My dad went
to a star party, and my sister had gone to Conway, so I just played
Worms until it was time for me to go pick Angie up from
work. I took her home and then went back to Papa John's for a
few hours to watch over the closing and everything. All kinds
of people came by to talk after the store closed, including a
police officer of some relation to my boss. He looked my bike
over and asked if he could ride it. After asking about his experience
with bikes, I handed over the keys so he could take it around
the block. He couldn't figure out how to get the thing started,
but once I got it running, he took off. I didn't really like the
way he seemed so cocky about his riding ability, but he returned
it in one piece. I hung around for a little longer, and then headed
back home for some sleep. Hopefully I won't be feeling this sick
when I've got to go back to school on Monday.

I was still feeling pretty sick today, but I got up a little
earlier than yesterday and talked to Travis Simpson for a bit.
I showered and got dressed so I could go meet him at his house.
I watched him play Final Fantasy X for a while, and then
we went to SubWay for lunch. After we finished, we went back to
his house and played some Grand Theft Auto 3, which only
proved how much fun you really can have with a rocket launcher,
a sporty convertible, and the occasional police helicopter. We
played for a few hours, and then I headed towards home so I could
get ready for work. I stopped by to see Angie Jennings for a short
while on my way home, and then went through the whole "work
routine" of delivering pizzas and the like. We were extremely
busy for a while, but I still walked out with a bit less than
I thought I should have. At the end of the night, I went back
to Angie's house and stayed with her until her curfew was up.
I took the van home because apparently my sister had decided at
some point to come swap vehicles with me. Then I sat at the computer
for a while and played Worms: Armageddon before going to
bed.

I slept in as long as I could today. I wasn't feeling well, but
I finally got up around noon, showered, and went to Tech to register
for this semester. When I got all of that finished, I went back
home and got ready for work. As soon as my dad got home with the
car, I took off for work. Later in the night, my boss asked if
I could close because he was having some scheduling problems with
people whose cars were broken down. I agreed, but asked for a
bit of time off so I could rest. I still wasn't feeling very well,
but he needed someone to help close. He let me off for a couple
hours, and I went to see Angie Jennings. She was feeling really
tired, so I went in and sat with her while she was just lying
back in bed. I left after a little while so she could go back
to sleep, and then I came home for dinner. I ate and sat back
to rest for a little while, and then headed back into work. It
took us a while to close because we were just slow with everything.
It wasn't too bad, and I was in a pretty good mood through it
all anyway. I finally got home around 2:30 and went to bed.

1-9-02
Angie Jennings was feeling quite a bit better this morning, although
still a bit weak. We decided it would be best for her not to go
to school or work. I went out to the nuclear plant to try and
swap my motorcycle for the car, but was met at the gates by a
guard with a very large gun - a gun I'm sure was capable of throwing
bullets faster than any motorcycle I could ever pilot. I stopped
there and tried to get a hold of my dad. He was in a meeting,
so it took a while. Eventually he came down and brought the car
out to me. I ran back to the house and got Angie, and we went
out to get some food. Then we went back to her house so she could
shower, and then I took her to another doctor. This visit was
slightly less free, but he gave her a new prescription that didn't
have such dramatic side effects on her. We went back to her house
to let her mom know what happened, and then we went to USA Drug
to get her prescription filled. We came back to my house so I
could shower and get all cleaned up, and when my dad got back
home with my bike, we went to Tech to try and get my bed sheets
from my dorm. We met a strange old guy along the way that had
the keys to the front door, and he let us into the building. I
talked with him for a short while, gave him the keys to my room,
and then Angie and I rode back home. We went back to her house
to see if her mom was hungry, because I had offered to get them
all Whatta-Burger, something they had never tried. Needing a bit
more cash, we came back to my house, and then went to get the
food. The way we ordered wasn't clear enough, I suppose, and we
were short a burger when we got back to her house. Angie and I
ate and shared the fries with her mom. After sitting around for
a bit longer, we decided to go by the theater to see how busy
they were. Not a whole lot of people were there, but a bunch of
our friends were working, so we got in free. Travis Simpson and
Matt Farrar finally met us there to watch The Lord of the Rings.
Mitch Graham came in just to be silly and watch the previews,
and then left when the movie was about to start. It was a good
movie, but Angie wasn't feeling well through most of it. I didn't
actually find out until the end of the movie, so when we left,
I took her home and fixed her up with some of her magic pills,
tucked her into bed, and went out for a quick ride around the
town before settling back at home. I sat at the computer for a
short while before going to bed and falling asleep.

I woke up a few different times this morning. When I finally
got up for good, my mom took me to the high school so I could
get the car. I took it back home for a little while, and then
got cleaned up and went to work. I got off when I was scheduled
and went home to change before going over to Angie Jennings's
house. She got her blood test back, and they said she was "normal."
Hopefully it won't be too much longer before we get her back into
tip-top shape. She said Cassie Hilgerson wanted us to visit her
at work, so we rode the bike out to Heritage, the fundraising
telemarketing place Cassie works for. They talked for a little
while, and then we went to Claire's and Wal-Mart to see if we
could find some sun glasses for Angie. We stopped by her house
for a bit, where she took one of her pain killers. It worked nearly
instantly, so we stopped by my house and then went out to eat
at a fairly new Mexican place in town. After that we came back
to my house where she started to feel a bit dizzy. Slowly she
got worse, feeling the nausea and other severe side effects from
her medicine. We called a doctor, but the only sleepy advice he
gave was to let the stuff wear off. She couldn't even get up,
so she wound up spending the night. I just went to sleep in the
floor right next to the bed.

1-7-02
I slept in for a while today, but then got up and got ready to
pick Angie Jennings up from school. I stopped by Papa John's first
to see how things were going. When it was time to head on to the
high school, my bike wouldn't start, so I had to push it down
a hill and start it that way. I went to get Angie, and she came
out to tell me that she and Mrs. Raines's were trying to work
out a doctor's appointment for her later in the afternoon. I went
back in with her, and they worked out an appointment for 2:30.
I took Angie back home, and then we went to Burger King for a
quick bite before she had to go in. We stopped by her house for
a little while, and then continued on to the doctor. We had to
wait for a few hours to see him, but it was worth it to finally
be there. It was worked out, through a tangled web of friends
and church members, that she could go in for free. He diagnosed
her with spastic colon and small intestine, and sent her in for
a blood test to find out anything else. After that, I dropped
her off at home and ran home to get ready for work. I was a few
minutes early, but they didn't miss me too much. I even got off
of work a little early because we were so slow. I headed back
to Angie's house for a while, brought her back to my house for
a little while, and then had her back home for her 10:00 curfew.
I came back home, sat at the computer for a while, and then went
to bed.

1-6-02
I had to get up early this morning to return Angie Jennings's
jacket that she left in my room last night. I waited with her
until Rachel Trusty came to pick her up for church, and then I
rode around on my bike for a little while. After just a short
ride, I had to get home and get ready to go to work. I stopped
for breakfast, and then made it to work on time. It was a really
slow day, but somehow I still managed to walk out with over $20
in my pocket. My boss let me off a couple hours early because
we were so slow. I went to Angie's for a little while, and then
came back home and got ready to go with my dad to return my new
computer chair to Staples. Just as I was walking out the door,
my boss called and asked me to come back in, so I went in for
the rest of the evening. After I was finally let off for the second
time, with another hefty amount in tips, I returned to Angie's
house, and then brought her back to my house. We went out for
a nice, brisk bike ride around the city. When we got back, we
were numb from head to toe, but it was still great fun. Later,
Matt Farrar and Travis Simpson came by to say a few words, and
we all got caught up in Adult
Swim. After they left, I sat with Angie for a little while
before having to take her back home. Then I came home and went
to sleep.

I got up this morning to a scratching sound at my window. Angie
Jennings and Mallory McKinney decided to stop by and wake me up.
After lying around for a little while, we all went to Perkin's
for lunch. After that, I had to get back home to get ready for
work. I left while the girls stayed in my room playing Nintendo.
Later in the evening, I got off of work close to when I was scheduled,
and headed straight to Angie's house. I stayed there for a little
while, and then we came back to my house where she surprised me
with how she and Mallory had made my bed up all nice and pretty
while I was gone. We just lied around for the rest of the night
until I had to take her back home. Then I came back and went to
sleep.

1-4-02
Angie Jennings called to wake me up this morning. I dragged myself
out of bed and showered up so I could go pick her up. We came
back to my house and just hung out for the rest of the morning
and early afternoon. We went back to her house for a bit, and
then went to Sonic for some lunch. I had to take the car in to
have the stick looked at, so I headed out for that. As it turned
out, a single loose bolt was causing all the problems, so the
guy tightened it and sent me along my merry little way. I went
back home and jumped on the bike because it was really nice outside.
I rode over to Papa John's, which was my first mistake. They asked
me to work for a little while, so I finished my little biker outing
and then went home to change for work. We were really slow, so
I got out earlier than it we had planned. I went back home and
did some more riding until it was time to go pick Angie up from
work. I swapped for the car again, got her from work, and we went
back to her house. I sat around playing Nintendo while she made
little pudding cups. She got hungry, so I called in for some pizza
and went to pick it up. I brought it back and watched her eat
a couple slices, and before we knew it, her curfew was up. She
was already home, but she had to kick me out. As I was pulling
out of her driveway, my sister pulled up to swap the van for the
car, so I took the van home and just sat around for a while before
going to sleep.

1-3-02
Today's been fun, but I had a headache through most of the morning.
I traded hours with someone else at work so I wouldn't have to
go in so early, but I was still called and asked to come in an
hour before I was originally scheduled to cover for someone else
that hadn't shown. After I went over to Angie Jennings's house
and brought her back to my house, we sat around waiting to see
if I'd get a call back saying I didn't have to go in. As it turned
out, the guy showed up right at the nick of time, so I didn't
have to go in. Angie and I sat around sat around for a couple
hours before she had to go back to her house and wait for Charlotte
Zimmer to pick her up. They, along with Mallory McKinney, had
planned a fun-filled luncheon at le café New China. When
Charlotte got there to pick her up, I came back home and went
to sleep for a couple hours. Then I got up and played some Worms:
Armageddon until it was time to go to work. I went in and we were
pretty slow, so after three runs, I was sent home. I gave Kenneth
New a ride home because his car broke down, stopped to get some
gas, and then went back to Angie's house. I brought her back to
my house so I could change, and then we went out shopping for
a little while. We went by Papa John's first so I could pick up
the Mt. Dew I left, and then went to Wal-Mart and K-Mart, and
then stopped by the Price Chopper for some tasty fruit juice.
After all of that, we came back to my house and sipped juice while
watching Adult Swim. After that, I had to get her home for her
curfew, so I took her home and then came back home and went to
bed.

I got up fairly early this morning, showered, and got all cleaned
up for the day so I could go see Angie Jennings. I went over to
her house for a little while, we went to Sonic for breakfast,
and came back to my house to eat. After that, we went by Papa
John's so we could check the schedule. Then we went back to her
house so she could start getting ready for work. She didn't have
any clean shirts, so we came back to my house and I gave her an
old T-shirt I had. We went back to her house so she could finish
up, and then I dropped her off at work. I came back home and went
to sleep until around 5:00 when I had to get up and get ready
for work. I stopped by Taco Villa first for some dinner, and then
continued on to work. I had to close, but we got out pretty early.
When I got home, I showered again and now I'm ready for some more
sleep.

Angie Jennings nudged me awake this morning when my alarm went
off. I got up to shut it off and wound up going back to sleep
for almost another hour. When I woke up and realized what I had
done, I jumped up and got ready for work, and took Angie home
on my way in. When I got there around 20 minutes late, I was surprised
to see that I had still beaten my boss there. He pulled up just
seconds after I did, so everything was cool. I worked all day
and on into the early evening before I got off. I went back to
Angie's house and brought her back to my house to watch a movie.
After that was all over, I had to get her back home for her curfew,
and then I came back home and went to sleep.
